Josette Combes

Josette Combes holds a Master Degree in Sociolinguistics (Paris VII, 1983) and she was responsible for a national development program in social housing tailored to the creation of spaces for early childhood with parental involvement (creation or restructuring of more than 45 places in the hexagon). From 1990 to 1998 she contributed as an expert in the work of the Centre for Research on the Education of the OECD (“Programs for the coordination of services for children at risk”).

Based in the Midi-Pyrénées region since 1994, she has worked as a consultant in several organizations of the region, speaking on issues of cultural exchange, project methodology and the development of social economy and led action research / ratings for several local authorities. From 2000 to 2012, as Senior Lecturer associated with the University of Toulouse le Mirail, she taught project methodology in social economy and development economics focused on endogenous experiences brought by the initiative of local communities. Currently she is President of the Institute of Research and Development NOVETAT ‘(Midi-Pyrénées), board member of MES (Movement for Solidarity Economy, France) and member of the Scientific Council of the RIUESS – Inter-University Network of SSE.
