The social and solidarity economy is not confined to specific spheres or sectors of the economy. It is present throughout the economic spectrum, from production and distribution to marketing and consumption, as well as in areas such as homecare services, healthcare, information, education, resource management and finance, and in the process of reinventing currencies.
